Where is it?

Konstancin-Jeziorna is a picturesque health resort situated about 20 km from Warsaw's city centre. Visitors can easily get here by car - heading south from Warsaw (road N° 724) or by bus: line 700 – from Central Warsaw railway station, and line 710 – from „Wilanowska” bus station. Both buses stop in Wilanów and Powsin.

Health Resort

Konstancin's greatest treasure is its unique microclimate and thermal brine that comes from deposits located 1700 m underground. There is fresh, balsamic air provided by pinewoods surrounding the resort. Konstancin is a garden town crossed by picturesque Jeziorka river, where birds sing in the trees and squirels frolic in the parks.

Attractions

A must-see in Konstancin-Jeziorna are „Zdrojowy” Park and the Graduation Tower where you can inhale 6,5% therapeutic brine which supports treatment of chronic and recurring inflammatory coditions of respiratory system, neuroses, arterial hypertension and in prophilaxis for people who work in dusty environment or high temperature, smokers and ihabitants of large agglomerations. What else is worth seeing? Definitely stylish historic villas from the turn of the XIX and XX century, Old Paper Factory (now a shoping center with restaurants and cafes), and a mansion in Obory – a former dwelling of Konstancin's founders.

Tourist Routes

Numerous paths and routes for walking and cycling are a perfect opportunity for trips and sightseeing. Anywhere tourists may find themselves – by the Vistula river, in Chojnowskie Forests, vast old valley of the Queen of Polish rivers – they will find beautiful places, where one can spend time in contact with nature. All of this – only 20 km from Warsaw's city centre.

Concerts and events

During summer our amphitheatre in „Zdrojowy” Park holds various concerts. Artistic events also take place in the Community Centre, Storyteller Museum and Old Paper Factory. After sightseeing, tourists are welcome to stop by and rest in one of many cafes and restaurants.
