Naujoji Vilnia is an administratory district of Vilnius. Mostly built-up with dettached houses, Naujoji Vilnia is famous for its natural landscapes.
Because of the great number of Polish inhabitants, there is a Polish school of the J.I. Kraszewski name.(12 grades), of which our commune is a patron. There is also a primary school called „Żakaliano” (4 grades), and a Polish nursery.
Polish writer Tadeusz Konwicki was born here in 1926.
