Konstancin-Jeziorna

Located in the vicinity of Warsaw, the town of Konstancin-Jeziorna is a unique place and well worth a visit — not only because of its saline tower. Enshrouded in green vegetation and filled with flowers, Konstancin-Jeziorna — the only health resort in Mazovia — is a perfect destination in every season.

With its unique microclimate, its saline tower, and a wide range of healthcare facilities, Konstancin-Jeziorna is a health resort unlike any other. It all began with Count Witold Skórzewski, who in 1897 decided to subdivide the land that belonged to the Obory estate into smaller portions to build a ‘climatic health resort’. His decision fell in line with the 19th-century popular trend to use climate as a form of therapy.

No one can ever get bored in Konstancin-Jeziorna. Each year, the town’s calendar is jam-packed with cultural and sports events. Konstancin-Jeziorna offers a plethora of events to suit every taste — a taste for art, and a taste for sports. Konstancin-Jeziorna Commune has signed partnership cooperation agreements with six cities: Hranice (Czech Republic), Denzlingen (Germany), Kremenets (Ukraine), New Vileika (Lithuania), Pisogne (Italy), Saint-Germain-en-Laye (France) and a protocol of cooperation with the city of Cēsis (Latvia).
